These are the limits as of September 2026. The Quorum team can change them, so the pricing page is the one to trust if the two ever disagree. Settings → Plan & usage shows your own figures and how much of each you have used.
How each one counts
Every limit is account-wide. 300 students means 300 across all your groups, not 300 in each.
| Limit | Counts | Checked when |
|---|---|---|
| Groups | Groups you own that are not archived | You create a group, or restore an archived one |
| Students | Students across all your groups | You add a student, or import a list — an import that would go over is refused whole |
| Sessions a month | Sessions started in your groups this calendar month, including imported past sessions. Resets on the first of the month | A session starts, or past attendance is imported |
| Team members | People on your groups' teams | You add a team member |
Your team's usage is yours. A session a TA starts, or a student a TA imports, counts against the group owner's plan — not the TA's.
What a limit stops
Reaching a limit only stops you creating the next thing. Nothing is ever deleted when you reach a limit or a plan lapses: every existing group, student and attendance record stays readable, and you can keep teaching the groups you have.
At the session limit you cannot start another session until the month turns over. See When you hit a limit.
